I have always been passionate about health and fitness from my early school years in Sydney’s eastern suburbs when the best part of the day was running, climbing, chasing, swimming and just generally competing with my mates in the local park, to nowadays as a dedicated gym goer, middle distance runner, qualified remedial masseur, 1st grade baseball umpire and overall sports nut. For many years I have experienced the enjoyment and huge lifestyle rewards that come from being active, fit and healthy.

After years of balancing a corporate career with my passion for healthy living and having an active lifestyle that includes regular fitness training, I am now able to fully leverage that passion and my knowledge and life skills to work beside my clients to help them to achieve their own health and fitness goals and to get those great lifestyle benefits.

Ellie Woollard

When I hit the age of 17, I came to the realisation that sport alone wasn’t enough, and I needed to add something to my training which would compliment my sporting interests. I signed up to a gym, and from that moment, my obsession for weight training was born. I fell in love with the way my body felt after a session, and the changes I was able to make to not only my body, but also my mind. Exercise really changed my life and I wanted to pass on these feelings, and share my knowledge and passion for healthy living, to everyone I possibly could! That’s when I made the choice to become a personal trainer.

Sporting Interests: I have pretty much always been a sports nut, anything that involved moving and being active - I wanted to be a part of. Dancing, swimming, boxing, gymnastics, rugby league and rowing, just to name a few. I have also had the honour to play representative netball for Manly. More recently, my competitive nature has led me to participate in the sport of powerlifting, and bodybuilding, both of which are hugely demanding both mentally and physically. This has enabled me to channel my strong belief that all females should be conducting some form of resistance training.

David Brown

I have always enjoyed sport & recreational activities, however health conditions limited my progress throughout my younger years. It wasn’t until I was 19 that I decided to join a gym, and at the time I was anything but a healthy teenager! Once I began training and seeing some results, I was hooked and it quickly became a huge passion for me – I started to study fitness, personal training and the human body. Now I have the pleasure to call this my job and have the ability to unlock others true potential and allow them to live more healthy, happier and fulfilling lives – allow me to show you how.

Sporting Interests: My initial love for weight training grew into a huge passion, and something I wanted to do more of – and be better at! This led me to start Weight Lifting & Power Lifting, which I have now competed at in a few competitions in New Zealand.

In my culture a healthy lifestyle and fitness was not a priority. As a young child growing up, I was always surrounded by unhealthy options - fried food, sweet drinks and lollies. Luckily I've always been an active person but it wasn't until I moved from New Zealand to Australia that I learned more about health and fitness - joining my first gym at the age of 21.

I trained hard for 6 months and noticed dramatic change in my body, I loved how I felt and looked! I continued training myself and also helped a lot of my friends become fitter and healthier. Having seen how people can be both negatively and positively influenced, I made the choice to impact people in a positive way – and that is when I became a Personal Trainer!

Sporting Interests: Rugby League is my biggest passion, I was brought up playing it and plan to play for years to come. My biggest achievement was playing a year of professional rugby league with the Cronulla Sharks. I also love Basketball, NFL and play social touch football as well.

Steve Hanson

Sporting Interests: Being from Queensland I have a huge passion for rugby league, and also water skiing. But I have a general love of all sports - the dedication, sacrifice, persistence and constant challenge to be better is intoxicating to me. That same passion and drive carries through into my training philosophies.

I grew up enjoying a highly active lifestyle, but like the majority of us, life took over and work began to take a stranglehold. The more I worked for others, the less time I had for myself, and as a result, my quality of life went by the wayside. Coming from a trade background, I know first-hand how hard it is to find the energy and MAKE the time to change, but I also know how amazingly rewarding it is when you do! With a change of lifestyle, scenery and perspective, I'm now able to pursue my passion and help you to achieve the benefits of an active, healthy lifestyle – allow me to help YOU be the best version of YOU!
