I understand what it’s like to not feel like ‘you’, to be time poor, to try and balance work and children on top of trying to squeeze a minute or so in for yourself during your day. I have a new-found belief in the power of nutrition, the importance of moving and the impact the combination of the two can have on your overall wellbeing. We don’t all have the same goals and I believe it is important for this very reason that each individual client is in fact treated individually.

Sporting Interests: Growing up as a swimmer and competing at a National level for 8 years including two Olympic and Commonwealth Games trials, I learnt very early on what it takes to be truly committed to something. Since retiring from competitive swimming, I’ve found a love for exercising within a gym environment. Since the majority of my training growing up was cardio based, I now focus on weight training and combining resistance with cardio in a HITT style workout.

Petrina O’Sullivan

Exercise and fitness is something I have become very passionate about over the last 5 years. It is the one constant thing in my life and becoming a Personal Trainer has been a privilege and one of my greatest accomplishments. Knowing I am capable of helping someone attain and achieve their goals, and watching their progress throughout their personal journey is very rewarding to me. After struggling with my weight and overall health throughout adolescence, I overcame a number of personal obstacles, I came to realise the importance of exercise and healthy eating. Now I want to help others do the same, and reap the rewards of a healthy lifestyle.

Sporting Interests: I have competed in WFF Fitness Body Building competitions and have placed 1st in multiple titles including Ms Sports Model ad NSW Overall Championship. I have also placed 4th in Australia in 2015. I am an experienced fitness competitor who loves to compete and also loves to share my knowledge and experience to tailor to my client’s needs.

Liam Handley

Growing up in a family where food was heavily orientated, I had never been the one to care about healthy foods or proportions. Even with an active lifestyle of participating in weekend sporting teams, my unhealthy habits were obsessive, which lead to the decline in my overall health and confidence, and in turn social issues during my adolescents. I struggled with my weight and a negative body image.

Upon my discovery of physical fitness in the form of gym training, I learned to develop a passionate commitment to health and wellbeing, which has shown to have an overall positive benefit that has remained permanent to me. The journey to improving your health can be difficult, and filled with obstacles that can slow you down or even completely stop you in your tracks. But with the help and support of friends and family, I knew I could achieve big things. You can too!

Sporting Interests: I have always held a general passion for most sports at a comfortable level, though I predominantly played locally for the Narrabeen Sharks rugby league and soccer teams. When I turned 16, I discovered a gym and developed my passion for fitness, where I now currently have 7 years of experience. Through this, I have learned how to develop a mindset that is centred around commitment, resilience, balance and the burning desire to strive for the greatest health and wellbe

Rebecca Lock

In March 2016 our daughter Elizabeth was born. I used the pregnancy as an opportunity to try and maintain some level of fitness by eating well and doing appropriate exercise. However, with a high risk pregnancy that required 6 weeks bed rest in hospital, followed by an emergency Caesarean, I was unable to do any real training for 12 weeks after her birth.

As mums, we know it’s challenging to raise children that require constant attention, whilst trying to fit in a healthy diet and exercise regime and make our bodies to what we want them to be. But it CAN be done!

I’ve met those challenges personally, and I want to help you do the same. We can work a program around your busy schedule. The facilities here, including the crèche, will make your transition to the fitness level you desire easier. Just getting started can be so difficult, but the longest journey starts with 1 step!

Sporting Interests: For as long as I can remember, I have loved to dance. From the age of 4 I took classes in ballet, jazz and tap. I started teaching dance from the age of 14, and danced competitively from 10-20 years old. In my mid 20’s, I moved to the Northern Beaches, and by chance became involved in I have subsequently competed in surf boat rowing for 11 years achieving medals at State and National Championships.

WARREN DIXON

In my culture a healthy lifestyle and fitness was not a priority. As a young child growing up, I was always surrounded by unhealthy options - fried food, sweet drinks and lollies. Luckily I've always been an active person but it wasn't until I moved from New Zealand to Australia that I learned more about health and fitness - joining my first gym at the age of 21.

I trained hard for 6 months and noticed dramatic change in my body, I loved how I felt and looked! I continued training myself and also helped a lot of my friends become fitter and healthier. Having seen how people can be both negatively and positively influenced, I made the choice to impact people in a positive way – and that is when I became a Personal Trainer!

Sporting Interests: Rugby League is my biggest passion, I was brought up playing it and plan to play for years to come. My biggest achievement was playing a year of professional rugby league with the Cronulla Sharks. I also love Basketball, NFL and play social touch football as well.

Steve Hanson

I grew up enjoying a highly active lifestyle, but like the majority of us, life took over and work began to take a stranglehold. The more I worked for others, the less time I had for myself, and as a result, my quality of life went by the wayside. Coming from a trade background, I know first-hand how hard it is to find the energy and MAKE the time to change, but I also know how amazingly rewarding it is when you do. With a change of lifestyle, scenery and perspective, I’m now able to pursue my passion and help you achieve the benefits of an active, healthy lifestyle! Sporting Interests: Strength training, and Powerlifting in particular have become a huge part of my life in recent times. I love the resilience that is required, both mentally and physically, to move heavy weights. That being said, I have a general love of all sports - the dedication, sacrifice, persistence and constant challenge to be better is intoxicating to me. That same passion and drive carries through into my training philosophies.
